The Silence of the Soul

 The Soul is the Silence,

the stillness of the Infinite Ocean

of God,

 from which all Creation

 is reflected.

I lie down in green pastures,

beside the still waters

to find renewal,

from the life-giving

 energy flowing through

 the Heart.

It moves in the rhythm of

 the circling spheres

to create the cycle

 that purifies

 the blood of life,

to flow as the eternal spring

of the water of life.

 Our soul emerged from

 that One Great Soul

from which All is created,

and it will forever be

our Home.

Our heart dwells within

the priceless treasure of that

 One Great Heart,

the mystery that can never

truly be named.

Awaken and know

that your very existence

is poised on the threshold

of that Sacred Silence,

and only Love

will allow you to enter.

Give Love the freedom to guide

you where it will,

and the energy

 of the Spirit of Love

will rise in the

Breath of New Life.

In the Light of such sacred resplendence,
how could anyone ever help but be
    rendered into Silence.

I will meet you in that Silence…..
for it is that One Great Soul…..
that we fall into the eternal moment of Beholding……

I wrote, one day, about my reason for wanting to see you, forever with this column. Since then I have been nurtured by another thought about that. There are millions of people who are so caught up in the daily comings and goings of life they don’t have the time (or take the time) to ever get focused on what it is that life is all about. It is people, like you, who provide that reminder for the millions by sharing what the Holy Spirit reveals in you. You are blessed and then you bless us all.

  4. Naomi Stone Says:

    Jim,
You are sweet to include such a thought. My thoughts and poetry are read by a few, certainly not by millions, but if they bring a little peace to anyone, then I am happy to share my joy.
