the light of dawn sings its own song

a spark of divine energy ignites
the flame of love
in the human heart
and we feel
the pulsing rhythm
of the universe and of all life

the movement of life itself
is flowing
in the transparent glow
of divine light
beyond everything

life springs
from a hidden pattern
of divine energy
and begins to sing
its own song

living words are written
with the tip
of a divine flame
dancing in a moment
of sweet love
in a surrendered soul

innocence flowers
in the hour of creative power
as breathless beauty
is anointed
with our tears
and disappears

The nearness of the Beloved

In the midst of the beauty of creation and all the images we post and share with each other….feeling gratitude for the moments that lift and inspire us….that make us smile or shed tears of compassion…….to connect with “dear hearts and gentle people” ………….to feel the friendship that grows from the Friend….the word many of the mystics use for God………..another is “the Beloved”.

For me….the Beloved is a wonderful description of the God that transcends all religions….all narrow descriptions cannot diminish God in truth….but they fall short of the vast energy of the Source of All that exists…and is being created moment by moment.

For me….it is the nearness of the Beloved….the intimacy and communion of Love that is always flowing and always creating…….ways to love us……to touch us with a pure love that anoints us in the light of love……allowing us to feel the glorious truth of Presence.

Rising above all our limited belief systems….the Beloved embraces everyone and everything and rejoices in us as a creation of Love itself…an expression of the Flow and Breath of the Source of All Life…..suddenly brushing so near to us….soft breath of air moving our hair…..the sweet grace and feel of warm breath and the dew of morning felt on our lips…music that plays and dances throughout the universe……tender smiles from the moon…..arms that hold us close to a Heart we cannot see….feather kisses upon our eyes……..clouds that form and surround us in translucent misty light……..nearness…….dearness beyond description…..the earth yielding her breast flowing with milk and honey……the water of life turning to the wine of love that gives us invisible wings of flight…….and the grace of love…….the joy…..the incredible joy of knowing we are each loved for we are.

The gift of love…
the images and words
are letting love and light
stream through the spiritual heart
to manifest upon a canvas…..
or screen…or page
or in the embracing arms
of one surrendered
to the mystery
the most powerful force
in the universe
conscious
creative love…

beholding the beloved…
in all life….

The miracle is infused
within us…
pouring out and spilling over
with every breath
if we surrender..

this is so beyond
name and gender
and form and place…
beyond culture and belief
and rules and laws

yet it can transform
anyone
